The UCLA Scholarship Application is open year round, with a new application cycle beginning in mid-to-late March for the upcoming year. Priority consideration for awards in the upcoming academic year is given to students who submit their general application by June 30.

To apply for UCLA gift aid:

• UCLA students with MyUCLA login credentials may login via the blue “SIGN IN” button.
• Complete the required and/or optional questions (15-30 minutes) and submit. We retain almost all of your responses on the UCLA Scholarship Application for upcoming cycles. However, please review any prior responses, to confirm all your information is still up-to-date, as outdated information will impact your award eligibility.
• Additional information available in the UCLA student information system will also be automatically included in the scholarship profile to increase your opportunities. Click on the “APPLICANT RECORD” button in the lower left, to review this information.
• If presented with additional questions that are needed to match your profile with various scholarships: First, submit your general application, and then proceed to answer these supplemental questions, if you wish to be considered for these scholarships.
• Submit your application by the posted scholarship application deadline!! All deadlines are 11:59 PM Pacific time of the date noted.

Please check the UCLA scholarship portal frequently. Scholarship opportunities are updated and added regularly, and may require you to supply additional information to be considered for them.

Admitted students who have NOT submitted their intent to register (SIR) should use the Prospective Student Application. Note: We cannot transfer responses from this application, so be prepared to copy over any information you wish to reuse after you SIR (and before that portal closes in May).
