Harry C. Sigman

The Harry C. Sigman Scholarship was made possible through a major endowment gift from Mr. Sigman’s estate. Sigman, a longtime Los Angeles attorney, UCLA alumnus, and generous supporter of the UCLA Younes & Soraya Nazarian Center for Israel Studies, created the scholarship to encourage students of diverse backgrounds to study in Israel. Sigman, who also was an advisory board member of the Center, specialized in U.S. and international commercial law, worked as a consultant to governments and NGOs all over the world, and taught law at UCLA, the University of Southern California, and universities around the world, including in Israel.
