Gordon-MacNeil Scholarship

The Gordon-MacNeil Scholarship was established in 1958 by Sayra MacNeil and Hugh Gordon to provide scholarships for students who graduated from the Citrus Union High School District, the Asuza-Citrus Junior College, or any successors serving the same general geographical area, in the San Gabriel Valley.

Citrus Union High School District was the first union high school organized in California at the election of July 14, 1891. At that time, the Union included the school districts of Glendora, Azusa City, and Azusa which extending below the present city of Covina.
