Hering Family Endowed Scholarship Fund

The Hering Family Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 to support scholarships for UCLA undergraduate students, with a preference for the following:

  1. Greatest demonstrated financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office.
  2. Resident of San Diego County, CA.
  3. First generation to attend college from their family, former foster youth or from a single parent background.

In any given year, should the Financial Aid & Scholarships Office be unable to identify a qualifying scholar based on preference or criteria #3, the scholarship may be reserved for future awarding.
