Dr. Bertram L. Ashe UBAA Alumni Scholarship

The Dr. Bertram L. Ashe UBAA Alumni Scholarship was established in 2018 by Bertram L. Ashe to support scholarships for undergraduate students through the UCLA Alumni Scholarships Program in partnership with the UCLA Black Alumni Association. Preference shall be given to students who self- identify as part of the African American community, and/or who are pursuing a degree in African American
related studies, and/or have demonstrated leadership and involvement in African American related community service . Preference shall also be given to students who are first generation to attend college, and have demonstrated financial need as determined by the UCLA Financial Aid & Scholarships Office.
