Skirball Fellowship in Modern Jewish Culture (Graduate Students)

DESCRIPTION: year-long fellowship to support research in modern Jewish culture, including but not limited to anthropology, dance, film, history, language, literature, music, and theater. Successful candidate will be called upon to teach one continuing education course in his/her/their field at the Skirball Cultural Center.
AMOUNT: stipend of $20,000 plus resident tuition and fees for the 2020-21 Academic Year
REQUIREMENTS: description of research (up to 500 words), two letters of recommendation (one from department or dissertation advisor), description of 4 possible continuing education courses
DEADLINE: Awarded bi-annually, 2023-2024 applications will be due April 2023
