Linella McGee Scholarship Fund

The Linella Mcgee Scholarship was established in honor of Ms. McGee to support students at UCLA to assist with their education as part of the Partnership Opportunity Scholarship Program created by the Office of the President. The students must demonstrate strong academic and extra curricular accomplishments, as well as the ability to overcome adversity and high financial need.

“Nell” McGee was a native of Los Angeles who attended UCLA and received her BA in 1927. Following her graduation, she became a dedicated campus employee for 40 years, serving as an Administrative Assistant to then Registrar William C. Pomeroy for more than two decades until her retirement in 1971.
