James C. Basile Endowed Scholarship

The James B. Basile Endowed Scholarship supports students who graduated from public or private high schools within Ventura County, with a preference for students from Simi Valley and Moorpark, CA. At least one-half of the annual scholarships will be awarded to students from these schools who (a) have had one or both parents killed or disabled while actively engaged in law enforcement service or in public service as a fire fighter, or (b) the student is physically or visually impaired or otherwise disabled.

Note: In accordance with the UCLA Center for Accessible Education documentation guidelines, scholarship recipients may be asked to submit current documentation, as well as supporting historical records and materials, before award disbursement. Please visit their website for more details.
