John P. Herrick Scholarship
The John P. Herrick Scholarship Fund was established in 1958 by John P. Herrick, in memory of his son Captain Paul Young Herrick ’33, to provide scholarships to undergraduate students attending UCLA.
Paul graduated with his BA in English before serving with the combat intelligence branch of the Air Force during World War II. He was also a prominent writer of background music for motion pictures.
