South Bay/Bay Cities Network Alumni Scholarship
The South Bay/Bay Cities Network Alumni Scholarship was established in 2006 by the UCLA Alumni Los Angeles South Bay Network to award scholarships to UCLA undergraduate students from the cities located in the South Bay Region, CA, as defined by the Office of Financial Aid, through the Office of Financial Aid. If a student from the cities located in the South Bay Region, CA cannot be identified or qualified for the scholarship award, the scholarship may be awarded at the discretion of the Office of Financial Aid director in coordination with Bay Cities Bruins Alumni Network Leadership.
Provide scholarship support to one or more undergraduate students who preferably meet the following criteria:
1. Students must be scholastically eligible for admission to UCLA
2. Students selected to receive a Community College Transfer Scholarship award through the Office of Financial Aid.
3. Students must be graduates of South Bay community colleges.
The South Bay region: El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Hawthorne, Gardena, Torrance, the Palos Verdes Peninsula and surrounding cities
