Nell and John R. Wooden Alumni Scholarship Fund

The Nell And John R. Wooden Alumni Scholarship Fund was established in 2006 by friends and family in honor of former UCLA basketball coach John R. Wooden for incoming freshmen and transfer students, with a preference to students studying English or Literature, with a demonstrated interest in literature or creative writing. Students receiving the scholarship cannot be varsity student athletes on athletic grants-in-aid.
