William Morones Ortega Scholarship

The William Morones Ortega Scholarship was established in 1987 by the Estate of William M. Ortega to support scholarships for students of Mexican descent or ancestry.

A yearly scholarship or scholarships shall be awarded to deserving undergraduate students at UCLA who meet the requirements:

  1. Students must be an American citizen of Mexican descent or ancestry and who shall bear a Spanish surname
  2. Ability to speak and understand the Spanish Language.
