Lisa Mederos Memorial Prize for Best Honors Thesis
The department will award a prize of $650 to the best honors thesis. It is named after Lisa Mederos, a talented honors student who died before she was able to complete her thesis. A runner-up prize may be awarded as an Honorable Mention (Liza Mederos Prize for Research Excellence), with an accompanying prize of $350.
