Yardi Scholarship Fund

The Yardi Scholarship Fund was established in January 2024 to To support four-year scholarships of $10,000 a year for first-year, first-generation students with demonstrated financial need who are interested in business as identified by the following majors: pre-business economics, pre-economics, pre-mathematics/economics, with a high school GPA minimum of 3.0 or higher. Students must be California residents (includes DACA).

The scholarship will be renewable for up to four years if the recipient remains in good academic standing at UCLA. If a student decides to change their area of study outside of business, they will continue to receive the scholarship. This addition to the fund will allow for an expansion of the Yardi Scholars to a full cohort of 100 students over four years with 25 new students each year, beginning AY25-26.

The UCLA Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships will select the recipients of the award. First-generation college student is defined as the first in their immediate family to attend college (an older sibling can have attended, as well as an aunt, uncle, or cousin, but the individual’s parents do not have a college degree).
