Norma J. Ehrlich Scholarship Fund

The Norma J. Ehrlich Scholarship Fund was established in 2013 to support undergraduate scholarships to freshmen students.

Preference shall be given to students:

  • Who have demonstrated leadership, given back to their community and a desire to be in public service/non-profit work, politics, or public policy
  • Matriculated from Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, CA, Orthopaedic Hospital Medical Magnet High School, Los Angeles Unified School District, State of California public school system (in preferential order)
  • Female
  • Factors to consider include: champion to women causes, career in education, communications major, and interest in journalism)

Note: UCLA administers all identity-conscious financial aid and scholarships in compliance with federal, state, and university regulations by using a “pool and match” application process for unrestricted awards, identity-conscious awards, and other restricted awards (major, need, community service, etc.). Identity-conscious awards may include a preference for a student’s race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, color, ethnicity, or national origin. The pooled application process allows students to submit a general Scholarship application on the prospective student portal to be considered for multiple scholarships, and are used in determining the source of a recipient’s aid, but NOT their eligibility, receipt, or amount of financial aid.
