Shan K. Thever BA '71 JD '74 Memorial Scholarship

The Shan K. Thever BA ’71 JD ’74 Memorial Scholarship was established in August 2024 to support undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need who also demonstrate a desire for social impact, civic engagement, and/or positive change in their academic and professional goals.

In addition to this, the donors wish to support students with additional qualifications in the following order of importance:

  1. Student is interested in Law School and/or interested in political science.
  2. Student is first in their family to attend college.
  3. Student’s parents are immigrants.
  4. Student’s parents have immigrated from South Asia.
