UCLA Education Abroad Scholarship

The UCLA Education Abroad Scholarship was created to motivate first-generation college students to study abroad. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a UCLA student participating on a UCEAP program.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a first-generation college student identified as a student whose parent(s) or guardian(s) did not attend a four-year college or receive a college degree.
  • Current UCLA undergraduate student who will attend a UCEAP program for at least one academic term (e.g. summer, quarter, semester, or year abroad).
  • Financial-aid recipient at UCLA.
  • No previous study abroad participation.
  • Good academic standing at UCLA.

This award will be selected internally. To be considered for this award, students must apply to the Global Bruins Scholarship.
