Robert R. Diaz Memorial Scholarship

The Robert R. Diaz Memorial Scholarship was established in November 2025 to support renewable awards for incoming undergraduate students, including transfer students, with demonstrated financial need and who identify as first generation, meaning students who are first in their family to attend a four-year college or university undergraduate program. It is the donor’s wish that students have matriculated from the Coachella Valley (Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, Indian Wells, Indio, La Quinta, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, and Rancho Mirage). The fund will be administered by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships, which will determine the amount, term, and selection of each awarded scholarship.
