Lorrie Ross -Daily Bruin Memorial Scholarship
The Lorrie Ross Memorial Scholarship was established in 1971 by Mr. N. Joseph Ross, in memory of his daughter-in-law, Lorrie Ross, to support students with financial need. In 2017, inspired by his and his family’s passion for journalistic integrity, the scholarship was amended by N. Joseph Ross’s son, Richard Ross, to support student journalists working on the Daily Bruin. Preference will be given to current student editing staff members.
The fund will be administered by the UCLA Financial Aid and Scholarship Office, through the Daily Bruin Scholarship Fund application, which will determine the amount, term, and selection of students for each scholarship.
