Beckman Scholars Application

The Beckman Research Scholarship is awarded to outstanding UCLA undergraduate researchers who are majoring in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, & Molecular Genetics (MIMG), or Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology (MCDB), and who are committed to completing an honors or departmental thesis project with a UCLA Beckman Faculty. Beckman Scholars must complete two summers and three quarters of research as part of this program.

The Beckman Scholars Program is a national grant program funded by the Arnold and Mabel Beckman Foundation and administered by the Undergraduate Research Center – Sciences. This program is invitation-only for nominated students who produce outstanding work and demonstrate a strong potential for continued excellence in their undergraduate research projects.
