Housing Relief Awards (USAC IVP RENT RELIEF FUND)

UPDATE: As of 7/20/26 all award offers have been made.

The Housing Relief Fund was established in 2019 to address the nationwide housing insecurity crisis resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic. As high housing costs remain a major issue for undergraduate students at UCLA, the Housing Relief Fund continues to support Bruins living in Westwood and the surrounding areas.

Eligibility:

  • All continuing domestic and international undergraduate students matriculated in a degree program
  • Must have filed a FAFSA/CADAA/CSS application for the current academic year, and qualified for need-based aid, such as work-study and/or loans
  • Low and middle-income families (Total family income up to $150,000 and/or an SAI of 21,000 or less)
  • Preference for, but not restricted to, Pell/Cal Grant recipients, first generation students, Independent students, and/or students working at least part-time, who meet the above criteria.

Note: Incoming students are not eligible until the end of their first year.

Awards may be posted to spring or summer quarter of the current calendar year.
