Yardi Scholarship Fund

The Yardi Scholarship Fund was established in January 2024 to support four-year scholarships of $10,000 a year for first-year, first-generation students with demonstrated financial need who are interested in business as identified by the following majors: pre-business economics, pre-economics, pre-mathematics/economics, with a high school GPA minimum of 3.0 or higher. Students must be California residents (includes DACA). First-generation college student is defined as the first in their immediate family to attend college (an older sibling can have attended, as well as an aunt, uncle, or cousin, but the individual’s parents do not have a college degree).

The scholarship will be renewable for up to four years if the recipient remains in good academic standing at UCLA. If a continuing student decides to change their area of study outside of business after their first year of study, they will continue to receive the scholarship. (Updated 6/18/26 for clarification this exception occurs after the first year)

The Yardi Scholars Program supports 25 new students each year, with a full cohort of 100 students over four years. Students are expected to actively engage in program activities throughout their academic tenure.
