UCLA Alumni Band Memorial Scholarship- TBDSA

The UCLA Alumni Band Memorial Scholarship was established in 2004 by the UCLA Alumni Band in memory of William A. Rhan ’73 MSW ’75 for seniors who have demonstrated engagement in the UCLA Marching Band and apply for the True Bruin Distinguished Senior Award.

The True Bruin Distinguished Senior Award is a prestigious scholarship awarded to highly meritorious students who exemplify the True Bruin values of Integrity, Excellence, Accountability, Respect, and Service.

It is an opportunity for seniors to receive a scholarship through the esteemed Alumni Scholarship Program, and showcase the skills, knowledge, and leadership experiences they have gained on campus and in their community. Award recipients will receive a one-time award up to $1,000. All eligible seniors are welcome to apply.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Graduating senior in 2020-21 academic year (20F, 21W, and 21S)
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be in good academic standing and meet Expected Cumulative Progress Requirement as deemed by the University. (132 units, or equivalent)

Reminders:

• Applicants do NOT need to be members of the Alumni Scholars Club.
• Need is not required
• No residency, citizenship, or visa restrictions.

Final award determinations will be made by Financial Aid and Scholarships, after confirming participation and level of involvement with UCLA Marching Band leadership.
