Jim Morrison Film Fund

The Jim Morrison Film Fund was established in 1971 to provide scholarships and fellowships to worthy undergraduates and graduates enrolled in the Department of Film and Television at UCLA.

Recipients must meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate professional promise and artistic talent in the aesthetics and techniques of film and television production and directing.
  • A registered undergraduate student in good academic standing with a grade point average of 3.0 of better at UCLA and enrolled in the School of Theater, Film and Television.
  • Consideration will be given to those with demonstrated financial need.

Award decisions will be made by the TFT faculty awards committee and the announcement of the recipients will be made in the Spring Quarter of each year by the School.
