Jim Varney Scholarship

The Jim Varney Scholarship Fund was established in 2003 to provide support for entering freshmen from out-of-state to cover tuition, fees, books, living expenses and incidentals for each scholar for the duration of their four years of study at UCLA.

Fund shall be to provide full scholarship support to students in good standing who:

  • Are pursuing a degree in the College of Letters and Science
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.75
  • Have an interest in pursuing a career in acting and/or drama
  • Preferably are residents of the states of Tennessee and/or Kentucky
  • Demonstrate financial need

Recipients shall be known as the Varney Scholars.
