Nancy Diane Orford Endowed Scholarship

With preference to current UCLA students diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, and secondarily to students with other disabilities, the Nancy Diane Orford Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1993. Students must be in good academic standing and have demonstrated financial need via the FAFSA. Preference will also be given to those who demonstrate a strong commitment to service activities and/or the community.

Minimum $2,000 -- not renewable; notification by March 22

  6. Please upload a current resume that focuses on your key leadership and community service experiences.
  7. Please write a 150-word bio in third person that summarizes any obstacles you have overcome, as well as your level of commitment to, and key achievements in, community service. Please also include a brief statement of current career goals.
  8. LETTER OF REFERENCE: Please provide the name and email of an instructor, counselor or administrator who will provide a letter of reference on your behalf. Be sure to obtain permission from your recommender before submitting their name and email address. Your recommender will automatically receive a link prompting them to upload the recommendation via the UCLA Scholarship Portal.
