UCLA Global Internship Program Scholarship

The UCLA Global Internship Program Scholarship was established in 2020 by the UCLA International Education Office (IEO) to support students participating in the UCLA Global Internship Program on the basis of financial need. The application cycle takes place each year in December/January for the upcoming Summer term and is open to those who meet all requirements. See Eligibilty Criteria.

IMPORTANT:
• The Personal Statement Essay is part of your application. Make sure it is up-to-date and you have fully answered the essay prompt.
• Recipients of this scholarship must complete projects and tasks for IEO during the 2025-2026 academic year. Please see here for more details.
• Students enrolled in the UCEAP Summer Global Internship Program are not eligible for this scholarship
• IEO strives to provide scholarship funds broadly to assist the maximum number of applicants. We encourage students to apply to as many IEO scholarship opportunities as possible to increase their chances of receiving an award. Please note, however, that multiple IEO awards per applicant are unlikely.
